WP90X – Premium Finance Unpacked: Benefits, Pitfalls and the Right Fit

Join us for an exclusive WP90X presentation around premium finance. Life insurance policies funded through bank-financed premiums offer an effective strategy for owning and funding insurance within an irrevocable life insurance trust (ILIT). This approach helps families acquire their desired coverage through strategic, not risky, leverage. For the right client and done properly, it can provide an incredible enhancement to effective wealth transfer planning. Nevertheless, improper structuring and unreasonable insurance or lending assumptions will lead to outcomes that do not meet client expectations.

This session will provide a concise overview of premium-financed life insurance planning, emphasizing the ideal client profile, considerations regarding financial liquidity, optimal structuring and common pitfalls. Additionally, key warning signs to watch for in real-world applications of premium-financed life insurance will be addressed. In collaboration with a representative from one of the biggest players in the game, Wintrust Bank, we look forward to an informative discussion on best practices in premium finance.
