Insurance Advisory Partner and New Business Strategy

PHOENIX, February 1, 2021 – WealthPoint, LLC announced that Phil Spalding joined the firm as a Partner and QLS Founder. “WealthPoint is always looking for better ways to serve our clientele and Phil brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our Insurance Advisory Services,” said WealthPoint’s Managing Partner, Ryan Barradas. “Phil comes to WealthPoint from Spalding Financial Group where he served as the Founder and President for over 20 years. His background, relationships and expertise are unrivaled and he’s a great addition to our team. Furthermore, his focus on qualified plans and the development of his Qualified Leverage Strategy (QLS) will position WealthPoint to capitalize on more holistic retirement planning opportunities for our clients.”

Phil Spalding has spent much of his career focusing on the tax impact and exit strategies for retirement plan assets. “In 2015, I solidified this approach with the launching of The QLS Program. Since then, the strategy has gained national recognition by major financial and tax firms as a “best practice” approach to maximize the value of qualified plan assets for retirement, wealth transfer or philanthropy,” said Phil Spalding. “I’m excited to join WealthPoint and gain the support of a significant team structure with added technical capabilities and an increased knowledge base.” Kristin Teaff, Phil’s executive assistant with Spalding Financial Group, will be joining WealthPoint as well as the firm’s QLS Communications Manager.
